Hey guys! Check out Primetime's lone elk kill from last year! Jason Phelps tries out his new Phelps Game Call on a couple of Roosevelt bulls in Muzzleloader Season. Be sure to watch both Parts 1 and 2 to get a real idea of how fast things can go from no good to REAL good in elk season. (Hint: Listen for the "Is it loaded?!" comment, haha)

Great vid! It proves to show that hard work and hitting the timber pays off.
Just curious what GMU were you in, looks familiar and then again most of the land on the wet side look the same   timber, clear cuts, timber, clear cuts, timber, clear cuts with a few hills in the way :chuckle: :chuckle:
Now I'm ready for early archery to get here, thanks for sharing.

Thanks for all the comments.  The second shot was in the back of the neck.  He was wounded and I wanted to anchor him where he was.

EASY! ;)

As far as the misfire, I never knew if the gun would go off the second time or not.  That sucked, but it worked out pretty good.
